Rabbi Jeff Dreifus began serving as Temple Har Shalom's Senior Rabbi in 2025. Before coming to Park City, he served as Associate Rabbi at Temple Israel in Memphis, Tennessee, one of the largest and most historic congregations in the South.

Rabbi Jeff received rabbinic ordination from Hebrew Union College in New York City in 2021. During his rabbinical studies, he served congregations in Juneau, Alaska, and Rye, New York. Prior to entering the rabbinate, he worked in investment banking and with a clean energy startup.

While working in finance, Rabbi Jeff co-founded the TI Fellowship, a groundbreaking initiative recognized by Slingshot as one of the most innovative Jewish programs in the United States. The fellowship became a model for engaging and retaining Jewish young adults in communities across the country.

Rabbi Jeff graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies.

When he is not serving the community, Rabbi Jeff enjoys skiing, hiking, rock climbing, and traveling with his family. He and his wife, Rachael, are proud parents of two children, along with their goldendoodle, Abbey Road, and their cat, Lil.

We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of great food, meaningful conversation, and community connection. Register today to reserve your spot.
